To make 2021 the best year yet for your Small Business you should take the time now to update your marketing strategy.

2020 may have crushed some of your business plans. It was a year with a lot of ups and downs and stress for most business owners. Most of us focused on doing all we needed and could do for ourselves and our businesses to survive and really didn’t get the opportunity to focus on growth or our marketing strategy. 

As we move into this New Year, let’s not focus on what we didn’t or couldn’t do – let’s focus on what we are inspired to do this year! 2021 is a brand new year full of amazing opportunities. It is time to focus on the future and claim our success! 

A great way to do this is with a shiny new marketing strategy!

With the New Year here it is time to adopt a new marketing strategy. This can be as simple or as complicated as you would like. I suggest keeping it as simple as possible! 

Really the idea is to pick just one marketing activity and do it consistently. If you share your content in this consistent way you will:

  • Build fans and advocates for your business
  • Skyrocket your website SEO
  • Create amazing authority in your field 
  • Increase referrals for new business
  • Get more customers or clients
  • Become a subject matter expert 
  • Feel more accomplished and confident in your skills and business
  • And so much more!
Updating your marketing strategy is not as hard as it sounds. Just add one new marketing activity to your business. Ideally, you would think about how you want to grow your business in the next year. Then pick a marketing strategy that will support that goal.

Think about what goals you have for the next year. Do you want to make more money, get more free discovery calls, sell more classes?

Consistency is the key to any marketing strategy. If you want this to work you have to pick a strategy that you will be willing to work on every day/week for the whole next year. So pick something you think you can create fast and easy and won’t overburden you. 

Once you have picked out what marketing strategy you want to work on for the next year – the fun beings! So be excited, learn the best practices, buy the equipment, take the courses – do all the things that excite you about this one activity. 

Then create your plan – how will you do/implement this plan for in 2021? How will this new marketing strategy fit into your week? Organize these parts so you have no excuses to bury your marketing in your to-do list. 

Picking just one new marketing strategy for 2021 and sticking with it all year will grow your business. It will help you create your best year yet. And help your business support you and the life you are building.
