Without a clear reason for why I’m in this busin Without a clear reason for why I’m in this business, I would have stopped when I felt utterly overwhelmed and burnout last year.  Don’t get me wrong. It felt horrible. I doubted myself. I wondered if continuing was really worth it. But then I remembered my reason for going into business in the first place. To truly help and serve small business owners so they can live a better life.  As Brené Brown says, “You either walk inside your story and own it, or you stand outside your story and hustle for your worthiness.”  With purpose in my heart, I picked myself back up and got to it—wiser and more driven than before. 💪
When I was first growing my business, I spent WAY When I was first growing my business, I spent WAY too much time researching how to put myself out there, but spent very little time actually doing it! 🤦‍♀️  Sure, this was helpful knowledge to have. But, if I’m being honest with myself (and you!), the real reason I got hung up on this for so long was that I was nervous to cross it off the list and move forward.  I think that’s something most of us can relate to, right? Putting your dream “out there” is scary. It’s much more comfortable to tell yourself you are taking action while you are really just playing small.  What’s that going to accomplish? Not much. Instead, it was only by diving in and taking REAL action that I made REAL progress.
Entrepreneurship is a difficult journey and it req Entrepreneurship is a difficult journey and it requires a lot of courage.  The first step in owning a small successful business is to own the things that you have done well in life.  Which you can't do if your mind is consistently thinking of the things you haven’t been able to accomplish yet.
This thought is life-changing... When I sit with This thought is life-changing...  When I sit with it, it makes my heart swell. All we have gone through happened for a reason and it matters.
